Emigh Jewelry is made to tell your story.

1980s

Once upon a time

It began when I was about 5. My parents found a treasure trove of antique and vintage necklaces and crystal beads at an auction. I began making jewelry and selling it to my family, using my Barbie townhouse as a display case.

1990s

The adventure begins

In Junior High, I used scraps of copper sheeting from a roof that my dad built on our farmhouse porch, selling my creations at school. By high school, I was selling jewelry made from silver and precious stone beads to my friends and had a display at my hairdresser in Wayne, PA. I went on to attend both Parsons School of Design and RISD, graduating from RISD with a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing.

2000

If you can dream it, you can do it

I worked for Shreve, Crump & Low in Boston doing custom fine jewelry design. Then moved to NYC to work for Givenchy and Avon. I was then hired to work for QVC on their private label and celebrity jewelry lines. This became my niche. I liked the fast pace and never knew what celebrity I would work with next! I worked on products for Issac Mizrahi, Rachel Zoe, Kenneth Jay Lane, Nolan Miller, and many, many more.

2014

Happily ever after

I married my husband, becoming a full-time stepmom to his three children. The following spring I had a baby. So within one year, I had become a mother of four. I laughed so much and sometimes cried from pure exhaustion. I still did freelance design sometimes for industry friends, but, for the most part, I became just “Mom” for the next ten years.

2024

Dreams are forever

After a decade of raising children, I realized I had new things to express as a designer. It was time to draw jewelry with stories that I, and other women, connected to. My intention is for us to tell the beautiful stories of who we are, what makes us strong, and what matters to us. EMIGH is a celebration of the story women live.
